Our PTA thrives because of the incredible support from parents, guardians, and community members like you! Volunteers play a vital role in helping us create enriching experiences for our students and supporting our school’s needs.
Why We Need You:
Volunteers help bring events to life, support teachers and staff, and build a stronger school community. Whether it’s a few hours a year or a regular commitment, every bit makes a difference.
Opportunities Include:
Event setup and support
Classroom assistance
Fundraising activities
Hospitality and teacher appreciation
At-home tasks (great for those with limited availability!)
Your Time, Your Choice:
Help as much or as little as you can—there’s no obligation, and every helping hand counts. If you can’t come in person, ask us about flexible, at-home volunteer options.
Q: Do I need any special clearance to volunteer with the PTA?
A: Yes. All PTA volunteers must be cleared by the Jurupa Unified School District (JUSD), which includes a background check and current TB test, both at your own expense. This requirement is in place to ensure the safety and well-being of all students on campus, especially since many PTA activities occur during school hours.
Q: Why is this clearance necessary?
A: Because the PTA often supports events and programs during the school day, volunteers may be on campus while students are present. JUSD's clearance process helps maintain a secure learning environment for everyone.
Q: Can I still help if I’m not cleared yet or can’t come in person?
A: Yes! We often have flexible at-home volunteer opportunities that do not require district clearance. Just reach out and we’ll help you find a way to get involved.
